How to set your domain?
If you already have a domain and wish to use it on our platform, you need to make some small changes to your DNS settings. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Select Your Existing Domain
During the setup process, whether you are getting a Wix or Workspace subscription, you will be asked if you have your own domain. Please check the box labeled "Already have a domain."
- Type your existing domain name in the provided field.
- Click the "Use" button to select your domain.
Step 2: Obtain DNS Records
On the next page, our system will provide you with the necessary DNS records:
- **A (Address) Record**
- **CNAME Record**
Copy these two records as you will need them in the next step.
Step 3: Update DNS Settings
You now need to update your DNS settings with your domain service provider (we’ll use GoDaddy as an example):
- Log in to your domain service provider's website.
- Navigate to the DNS settings section.
- Click on the "Modify" button.
- Paste the copied A (Address) Record and CNAME Record into their corresponding fields.
- Save the changes
Final Step: Complete the Setup
After you’ve updated your DNS settings:
- Return to the Masterintegrator page.
- Click the "Next" button to proceed.
That’s it! You can now use your domain with your Wix webpage or Google Workspace.
